Frances W. Coughlin, 84, Kokomo, died Saturday, May 5, 2007, North Woods Commons. She was born Oct. 1, 1922, in Burlington, the daughter of John and Mable (Moss) Beck. On Dec. 18, 1948, in Kokomo, she married John H. Coughlin, who passed away Dec. 30, 1999. She was a homemaker and graduated from Burlington High School. She was a member of Southside Christian Church. She loved to help in the library at North Woods Commons. Survivors are a stepdaughter, Dolores Howard, Kokomo; a daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Jim Hunt, Warrenton, Va.; a daughter, Kathy Mundy, Kokomo; a stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Dan and Judy Coughlin, Kokomo; a son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Joyce Coughlin, Peru; 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Marge Beck, Kokomo. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers and two sisters. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday 9 May 2007 at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St. Calling was from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. The Rev. John McCoy officiated. Entombment is in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
